Virtual Reality Experience: Famous Monuments: Normal Public Library: June 5, 10:30 AM The Normal Public Library will bring in their supply of virtual reality glasses. This will be a seated exercise that will take you inside the 3-D world of famous monuments. This exercise can be adapted to make anyone feel comfortable using these glasses. Register for this exercise at ARC or by calling 888-9099.

Fostering Dignity Backpack Program: June 6, 10:30 AM 
Join Fostering Dignity for a brief discussion of their nonprofit on Thursday, June 6th at 10:30 AM. Fostering Dignity provides backpacks to DCFS offices. Child abuse and neglect investigators give these to children at the time the children is being removed from his or her home and placed into foster care. The backpack serves as a dignified carrier in place of a garbage bag. ARC will be taking backpack donations to drop off at our local DCFS offices. You may drop those backpacks off at anytime at either member service desk. Register to attend their program at ARC or by calling 888-9099.
Afternoon Tea with the Tea Ladies: June 10, 12:30 PM 
You're cordially invited to afternoon tea with The Tea Ladies on Monday, June 10th. Tea will be held at 12:30 PM followed by a "Titanic Ship of Dreams" presentation by The Tea Ladies at 1:00 PM. Members may bring one non-member guest. Finger foods and an assortment of iced teas will be served. Attire to match the "Titanic" theme is encouraged. RSVP by Jne 5th. Payment is expected upon registration. Cost is $10 per person. This event is sponsored by The Tech Tutor, Nancy Komlanc.
