ARC Giving Tree: The Giving Tree is a one-of-a-kind piece of art created by ISU professor, Randy Reid. The tree allows members, their families, and individuals and businesses in the community to show their support for local seniors by leaving a legacy at ARC. Obtaining a leaf on the tree requires a $500.00 contribution. Gifts can be made to any of the designations listed above, and you can choose between 3 message options:
Brick by Brick Campaign: See details listed on Featured Fundraiser page.
No matter the size of your gift, when you make a donation to ARC, you are helping us to reach and exceed our goals for providing a comprehensive range of recreational activities and services to the 55+ community. By donating, you leave a legacy that helps to ensure that our mission to enhance quality of life for Bloomington-Normal seniors can be fulfilled.
ARC greatly appreciates your consideration of making a charitable gift to benefit the seniors of McLean County. Feel free to contact Samantha Oleson at email@example.com or 309-888-9099 to further discuss ways to give, or see the information listed below. Join the ARC mailing list, if you haven't already, to receive additional information on planned and one-time gifts.
Life Insurance: Obtain a beneficiary designation form from your life insurance provider, and name ARC Living Memorial Fund as the beneficiary.
Recurring Gift: Make a long-term commitment to ARC with a recurring gift. You can set up a recurring commitment by talking to an ARC staff member.
Bequest: Make a gift to ARC in your will.
Matched Gift: When you decide to support ARC with a monetary gift, make sure you check to see if you work for (or are retired from) a company that matches charitable gifts for employees and retirees. A matching gift company is one that will match your gift in a specific ratio. Matching gifts require that the donor completes a matching gift form obtained from his or her employer's Human Resources Department. Typically, all you need is a receipt of your gift to ARC for your employer to verify before obtaining the matching gift form. Return completed forms to your employer's Human Resources Department. You can also contact them with any questions about the matching gift process.
EXAMPLE: State Farm will match (1:1) all gifts up to $1,500 for current employees and retirees in order to help your gift make an even greater impact!
Gifts of Equipment: Please contact Director of Operations Mindy Morgan or Programming Director Molly Camper if you have an interest in donating equipment to ARC.
Building Improvement Fund- Gifts to this fund support the areas of greatest need at ARC at any given time. This includes initiatives related to our various programs, groups, equipment, day-to-day needs, etc.
Outdoor Enhancement Fund-Gifts to this fund support the initiative to finish the ARC parking lot and make it more accessible for seniors, the addition of a garage for storage and the ARC bus, and the addition of an outdoor activity space/patio to take the fun of ARC outdoors.
